We're up on the coast of Maine spending the Thanksgiving holidays with Jen, Denny, Morgan, and Caroline. Thirty something for dinner tomorrow afternoon. The boys have been helping lug this and that in between trips to a big diner, movies, Monopoly, and games of chess. On the exact same day, our letter carrier Sandra carried two big packages up the stairs to our front porch. Surprise! We received Advent Calendars and a box of gifts that William says we'll be opening each day throughout December. The argument right now is this: In America, we only open gifts on Christmas Day, the 25th of December. What should we do? Part of our heating system is a pellet stove. We received 3 tons of pellets today... 150 bags. The boys packed the bags away in our back hallways and in the dining room. As a reward, we bought goodies form the Rumford House of Pizza. Every morning we wait for Connie to drive up the driveway. Often, the 3 Kent boys sit on our Victorian couch. When Connie arrives, Bailey barks and the boys pack their sandwiches and head out the door for their ride to school.
