Finally, the boys headed off to ski today at Mt. Abram. They came back and found their happy place for their naps. We're expecting our first big snowstorm on Tuesday and on Wednesday our local ski area, Black Mountain, will open. Lots of good naps to come.
We had a small amount of snow and the boys used it well. Bailey, as you can see, had his eyes out for the snow person's nose... in fact, he ate two of them. BIG storm coming on Tuesday so say the state weather people. Keep your fingers crossed!
Connie, Ben, and Ian came over this evening to celebrate Christmas. Regrettably, I didn't get a picture of Ben before he crashed--he works shift work at the mill, so that does him in! But I did get a few good pictures of Connie and Ian... and, of course, of the Kent boys. We spent Christmas Eve with the Michaud family and my brother Fred. Then, Christmas day, we stayed at home. We attempted to watch a Christmas movie this evening, but for this or that reason, we ended up watching an action film with countless explosions and deaths. Perfect. On another note, we send our greetings to family and friends, far and wide, for a happy Christmas.
It's the end of the semester and I'm swamped with this-n-that to finish up classes and other work. But, they like to play Christmas music and dance in front of my office door. Who wouldn't laugh? |
